Job Summary:
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized neonatal care for premature and critically ill newborns in a busy tertiary care environment. Candidates are required to bring their valid Washington State or Compact RN license on the first day of assignment. The position requires a minimum of two years of NICU experience and is scheduled for night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The selected candidate will float between units and must be adaptable to various clinical settings within the NICU.

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, Minimum of 2 years NICU experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Epic electronic medical record system experience, Ability to work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and previous experience with complex neonatal clinical skills such as arterial line management, ventilation management, and neonatal medication administration.
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience is advantageous.
• Float: Float between units may be required, especially for patients under the age of 2, based on unit needs.
• Additional Information: Candidates must adhere to all scheduling requests made during the application process, including pre-approved RTO. All submissions require references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years. Familiarity with Epic electronic charting is required.
• Travel Experience: Not required.
• Certifications: BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
