Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate requires an accommodating, analytical, and reliable individual who takes pride in producing highly precise, accurate work and serves as the backbone of daily operations. Success in this role is driven by patience, attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to see each task through from start to finish. The Warehouse Associate keeps operations running smoothly by receiving, tracking, and delivering the materials, tools, and equipment that projects rely on—including picking up and delivering items to job sites; all while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse/shop. Following B&D's policies and procedures, with consistent, error-free work based on defined regulations and standards, is a key measure of success in this role.Benefits401(k) program with discretionary safe harbor (no contribution required)Excellent health, dental, and vision insurance8 Paid holidaysCollaborative and supportive cultureResponsibilitiesMaintain and organize the warehouse/shop to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workspacePerform general maintenance on and within B&D's buildingsAssist in the maintenance and management of the fleetSafely pick up and/or deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites and/or back to the warehouseShip and receive parts, supplies, tools, and inventorySafely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipmentCoordinate with vendors for parts, hardware, and materials, and return excess inventory as neededTrack tools and inventory using established sign-in/out procedures, working patiently and consistently to ensure accuracy and qualityUtilize computers and related technology for inventory management and reportingCommunicate effectively with team members, vendors, and job site crews while providing consistent, quality customer serviceSign for inventory when delivered after the product has been checked against the packing slip to ensure all items are accounted for in good conditionFollow all defined regulations and standards with a strong sense of accountabilityApply advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issuesPhysical demands include long hours sitting, using a computer, standing, pulling/pushing, walking, lifting, and climbingThe job requires intermediate computer proficiency and advanced critical thinking skillsOther duties, activities, and responsibilities may vary and change as assignedEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredIntermediate computer proficiency requiredValid driver's license with a clean driving record requiredRelevant work experience preferred, such as warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handlingForklift operation and inventory tracking experience is a plus
