Physical Therapist (PT/DPT)

Position Summary: We're hiring for a Physical Therapist in outpatient ortho rehab. The practice is located at 990 N State Road 434 Ste.1128, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714, under Orlando Health Ambulatory Outpatient Rehab. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Why This Role Matters: The Physical Therapist works with patients who have impairments, limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The role includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions toward achieving the highest functional outcomes for each patient or client.

Essential Functions: Evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, demonstrates competency in the use of profession specific equipment, recognizes when the patient has received optimal benefit from physical therapy, adheres to State Practice Act and Standards of Practice, ensures complete documentation and accurate billing, provides patient/family education as indicated, maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy. Maintains current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida. Temporary permit acceptable. Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification. Experience: None required.
