Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in various pediatric critical care settings, including NICU, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and implement patient care plans.
• Perform necessary procedures including intubation and extubation, and manage ventilators.
• Monitor patient progress through diagnostic testing and physical assessment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards in high-level care environments.

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio RRT license in hand.
• Mandatory certifications: NBRC, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Minimum of two years of experience in a pediatrics setting, specifically in NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Experience with high-level care (Level 4 NICU) is required.

Work Schedule:

• Available shifts: 3x12 hours or 4x12 hours.
• Floating to related units may be required, including rehabilitation facilities and NICUs in the surrounding areas.

Travelers must complete two fingerprinting processes: one onsite prior to starting and another through the agency.
