Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ALS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, PALS or ENPC Must-Have: Compassion Sense of Urgency Team player Skills in rapidly identifying Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma Description: Data Collection Date: 5/28/2026 Number of Beds: 15 Number of Staff: Day Shift - 3 RNs, 9am-6:30pm EMT-P or Nurse Extern Number of Staff: Night Shift - 3 RNs, 5pm-1am EMT-P Patient Ratios: 1:4 depending on acuity Equipment: Baxter pumps, Hamilton vents, GE cardiac monitors, Stryker stretchers EMR: Meditech Typical procedures performed: Splinting Wound care IV-starts Medication administration Assessments Re-assessments Documentation Oversight of EMT-Ps Best personality fit: Compassionate caregiver (non-abrasive) Floating Areas: Typically staffed to core, floating may not be necessary Dress Code: Scrub Color - Royal Blue, No hoodies Unit Guidelines/Policies: Must clock out for lunch breaks and any time leaving the building. Clear communication with the clinical nurse coordinator is required. Weekend work: Every other weekend, no on-call.
