This opportunity is full-time at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. It is a 235-bed, acute care hospital owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. The Senior Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will deliver all aspects of respiratory care to all age groups, assist in the orientation and training of new staff members, and participate in department quality improvement studies, inservices, and meetings. The role requires NICU experience, stroke alert recognition, and maintaining currency in stroke knowledge.

Qualifications include a graduate of an AMA approved program, current registered respiratory therapist license in the State of Florida, and current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP & STABLE certifications. Minimum one year experience in neonatal intensive care services and/or completion of department's NICU orientation is required, along with minimum one year experience in an acute critical care setting.
