Job Title: Dye House Supervisor

Location: Maiden, NC

Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (may require OT)

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Summary

The Dye House Supervisor oversees daily dye house operations, ensuring safe and efficient production while meeting quality and production standards. This position supervises employees, monitors dyeing processes, assists with troubleshooting, and coordinates with maintenance and management to keep production running smoothly.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direction to dye house employees.
• Coordinate daily production, staffing, and workflow.
• Monitor dyeing processes and ensure machines are operating according to established procedures and formulas.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, speed, tension, and dye flow rates.
• Inspect finished materials for color consistency and quality.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs.
• Train and coach employees on equipment operation, quality, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Ensure the dye house remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Communicate with management, maintenance, and quality control to address production concerns.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a textile or manufacturing environment required.
• Previous experience with textile dyeing, dye jets, or similar machinery is a plus. 
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Steel-toed boots or shoes required. All other PPE provided by client.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
