Program Description Offered at our Las Vegas Grand Chateau in Las Vegas Nevada; the Finance & Accounting College Internship Program is designed to last 3-6 months depending upon the participant's availability and the needs of the department. The participants should expect to work a full-time schedule in this program with flexibility for part-time schedules based on participants course schedule. All College Internships are paid at an hourly wage. The Finance & Accounting College Internship Program also offers:

• Immersion program offering participants work experience in one specific department.
• Exposure to work directly related to the analysis of company financials including budgeting and forecasting.
• Exposure to work directly related to the financial activities of the company with a focus on accounting tasks relating to general ledger maintenance.

This Summer Resort Operations Finance Internship will be in Las Vegas, Nevada starting in the month of May. *Housing accommodations and relocation are the student's responsibility. Internship Tasks:

• Working knowledge about inventory policies of the company and inventory management process.
• Good understanding about cash management policies.
• Budgeting process
• Learn internal and external financial reporting.
• Knowledge about Accrual policies and process utilized by the company.
• Working knowledge of Account Reconciliation and processing Journal Entries.
• Analyze financial trends.
• Reconcile payment/receipt trail to vendors/customers.

Job Requirements Education

• Candidate should be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degree/majors: Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Business Management, Risk Management or related major/minor.
• Candidate must be in their junior or senior year.

Experience

• Past Interns who are interested in completing an additional internship will be considered first. Previous performance rating will be taken into consideration.
• Ability to navigate MS Office, Outlook and Excel
