About the Role:

The Spa & Health Club Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic management of a spa and health club facility within the accommodation and food services industry. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety while managing staff and resources efficiently. The manager will develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain clientele, optimize revenue streams, and maintain profitability. They will also be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Ultimately, the Spa & Health Club Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering a welcoming and rejuvenating environment that promotes wellness and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in spa or health club management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of spa and wellness industry standards, health and safety regulations, and customer service best practices.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and operational logistics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Spa Management or related wellness certifications (e.g., Certified Spa Supervisor).
• Experience with membership sales and marketing strategies specific to health clubs and spas.
• Familiarity with spa management software and booking systems.
• Background in fitness or wellness instruction, such as personal training or group fitness certification.
• Multilingual abilities to serve a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the spa and health club, including scheduling, staffing, and facility maintenance.
• Recruit, train, and supervise spa and health club personnel to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities to increase membership and service usage.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and control expenses to meet profitability goals.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure availability of products and equipment.
• Analyze operational data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
