Healthcare Professional - Medical/Surgical & Orthopedic

Schedule

Start date: ASAP. Weekend requirement: Yes, every other weekend. Call required, depending on patient census.

Assignment Details

Contract length: Not specified. Float required: Yes, possible float between medical-surgical and orthopedic units. Rooms/Beds: 7/14. Average daily census: 10.

Requirements

• California state license required; pending licenses not accepted.
• 2 years of experience required.
• No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a medical/surgical and orthopedic setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to nursing and medical staff.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care procedures.
