If you like hands-on work, take pride in accuracy, and want to grow in food manufacturing, this is a great entry-level opportunity with steady hours and overtime potential.Pay: $20.50/hrWhat You'll DoAs a Batch Maker, you'll be a key part of production—following formulas and step-by-step instructions to create batches that are ready for packaging in the Wet or Bakery department. You'll work with ingredients, equipment, and digital tools to help ensure every batch meets quality and food manufacturing standards. Training will be on 1st shift with a gradual transition to 2nd shift.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow precise batch formulas and directions to produce high-quality productUse iPads and scanners to complete batch-making steps accuratelySet up and operate equipment used in batch processingLoad blenders with pre-measured ingredients (batches can total up to 4,000 lbs; individual bags up to 50 lbs)Produce multiple batches per day based on production needsCheck raw materials for color, consistency, aroma, and texture; report anything questionable to leadershipInspect packaging and equipment condition and report issues promptlyComplete required paperwork/documentation clearly and correctlyMaintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety rules (including PPE)What We're Looking ForOrganized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructionsBasic math skills (measuring, counting, weights)Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing/walking for long periodsTeam-oriented with solid communication skillsExperience operating material handling equipment (electric pallet jack/manual hand jack) is a plusWork Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing floor environment with machinery noise and varying temperaturesProlonged standing/walking on concrete floorsFrequent bending, lifting, twisting, and climbing stepsMust be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbsPreferred Experience (Nice to Have)Material handling equipment certificationKnowledge of food safety practices/regulationsMasis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
