Job Details Job Type: Officer of Administration Bargaining Unit: Regular/Temporary: Regular End Date if Temporary: Hours Per Week: 28 Standard Work Schedule: Building: Salary Range: $144,000.00 - $189,000.00 Position Summary The Department of Pediatrics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking a new clinical physician as an Assistant Clinical General Pediatrician. This position will involve working at a new primary care pediatrics office, managed by the NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group in Scarsdale, NY. In this role, you will participate in providing the highest level of care to general pediatric patients in the office. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes. Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts. Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications. Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction scores. Meet or exceed productivity targets. Lead initiatives to improve clinical workflows, patient outcomes, or healthcare delivery systems. Act as a liaison between clinical staff and organizational leadership, ensuring alignment of goals. Oversee clinical teams or programs, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Represent the department or institution in professional or public-facing roles. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested. Minimum Qualifications Doctor in Medicine. Board Certified or eligible.
