Aero Tools Engineer

Salary: $68,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:

• We require strong experience developing, coding, and deploying distribution mechanisms.
• We need familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems as they relate to tool and file permissions and execution.
• We require solid programming experience with tools such as Bash, Perl, and Git.
• Preferred experience includes programming and debugging in C/C++ and/or Fortran.
• We value strong cross-functional collaboration skills across IT and engineering, along with clear communication abilities.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a bachelors degree in an IT or engineering field.
• Preferred experience includes adopting or integrating emerging technologies such as generative AI, automation platforms, or digital assistants into daily operations.
• The role is onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is temporary through December 31, 2026.

• We support our user community by handling issues reported by designers using the tool.
• We work closely with the ADT triage team to manage open tickets promptly.
• We define, maintain, and improve our tool build process to strengthen support for our tools.
• We respond to user questions related to tool issues.
• We collaborate with users to identify problems, research root causes, propose fixes, and correct tools or the distribution environment.
• We create and maintain logs of issues and corrective actions.
• We communicate significant issues in a timely manner.
• We prepare and present reports on findings.
• We partner with internal IT teams to improve the performance and reliability of the distribution process.
