The Chiropractic Assistant role plays a vital role in supporting a small administrative team by managing a blend of billing and administrative duties. This position ensures smooth office operations through payment processing, insurance claims management, appointment scheduling, and delivering excellent customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate billing processes and handle payment processing efficiently
- Schedule and manage patient appointments using scheduling software
- Handle insurance claims submissions and follow-up
- Maintain and update accurate patient records
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients
- Perform general office administration tasks to support daily operations
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical billing and administration
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with medical billing and insurance claims processing
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
