As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing incredible guest service and member experiences through beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property. Previous bartending experience is required for the position. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays. This includes competitive compensation starting at $5 an hour plus tips. Responsibilities Maintain a professional appearance at all times Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware and equipment Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed Collects payment for drinks served Greets and provides immediate attention to guests Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned Adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Education and Experience Requirements 1-2 years of bartending experience Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law. Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes Must have strong customer/guest orientation Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be dependable Working Conditions Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands The employee will be required to lift up to 55 lbs Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception Noise level is moderate to loud Work extended hours during special events and holiday season.
