Mental Health Intake Specialist

TriStar Health is seeking a Mental Health Intake Specialist to coordinate safe, timely access to behavioral health services across our regional network. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and families, performing mental health screenings, risk assessments, and level-of-care determinations via phone and in-person. You’ll collect and verify clinical, demographic, and insurance information, document accurately in EMR systems, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and referrals with multidisciplinary teams. You will follow strict safety, privacy, and documentation standards while providing compassionate, clear communication to patients in crisis.
