A Team of Passionate Leaders Kymera is led by a seasoned team of established biopharmaceutical leaders with the insights and experience to accelerate our progress and change patient lives. We are courageous, resilient, and rigorous in our mission to improve patients’ lives through our revolutionary degrader medicines. We value trust and transparency from everyone. Our goals are shared, our decisions data-driven, and our camaraderie genuine. We recognize our differences, inviting curiosity and inclusivity, so that our people are valued, seen, and heard. We are courageous, resilient, and rigorous in our mission to improve patients’ lives through our revolutionary degrader medicines. Kymera is a pioneer and innovator in the TPD field – throughout the drug discovery process, all our projects share a strong and clear focus on inventing better therapeutics using our unique approach and ultimately addressing unmet needs for patients. We appreciate and celebrate innovation and data-driven decisions here, regardless of how big or how small they are. Simin Li Associate Director, Biological Sciences We value trust and transparency from everyone. Our goals are shared, our decisions data-driven, and our camaraderie genuine. I joined Kymera because I was interested in being a part of an innovative team that fearlessly treads forward in the degrader therapy space to develop medicines that will directly impact patient’s lives. Seth Annan Associate Director, CMC Project Manager Belong We recognize our differences, inviting curiosity and inclusivity, so that our people are valued, seen, and heard. One of the best things about Kymera is the people! Everyone is thoughtful, dedicated, and fun – and that’s not easy to come by. I genuinely enjoy connecting with team members, from collaborating on projects, solving problems, or catching up at a company social hour. People are at the heart of everything we do, enabling us to realize our mission of delivering exciting new medicines to patients. Just like chimeric molecules combine two or more components to create a powerful and innovative therapeutic opportunity, together, we are greater than the sum of our parts. We welcome like-minded pioneers to join us on our extraordinary journey as we create a culture where diverse perspectives are invited, transparency is the standard and collaboration is celebrated—all in service of our goal to revolutionize medicine. Kymera’s culture reflects our aspirational vision, and every person contributes to building the company we want to be—an organization where our sense of urgency and high standards reflect our commitment to changing the lives of patients. Kymera’s culture reflects our aspirational vision, and every person contributes to building the company we want to be—an organization where our sense of urgency and high standards reflect our commitment to changing the lives of patients. Our medicinal chemists play a crucial role in our discovery programs by rationally designing protein degraders to achieve the desired biological effects. Heterobifunctional Degraders and Molecular Glues are complex molecules to effectively design and our chemists’ expertise is actively shaping the future of drug discovery and contributing to Kymera’s leadership in TPD. What I enjoy most about working at Kymera is the opportunity to collaborate with highly experienced, talented, and dedicated scientists. Being part of a team where everyone is committed to excellence motivates me to contribute my best. Every day presents a chance to learn something new, and I find immense satisfaction in applying my skills and expertise to solve challenging problems. This continuous learning and the collective spirit of problem-solving make my work at Kymera truly enjoyable. Associate Director, Medicinal Chemistry Proteomics Our proteomics team brings together Mass Spectrometry-based proteomics with proteome editing through Kymera’s TPD platform, and is foundational to our drug discovery efforts. Proteomics works with most functions in drug discovery and has collaborated on company achievements such as the creation of the first-ever map of E3 ligases expression, which is enabling disease selective pharmacology, and has helped characterize several degraders on their journey to the clinic. I was attracted to Kymera for its bold leadership, great culture, and long-term vision that fostered pioneering innovation I didn’t see elsewhere. I have stayed here for the opportunity, culture and collaboration that are in alignment with my purpose of making an impact in patient’s lives. I have been able to apply my knowledge and together we have pushed boundaries towards developing a technology platform that is set to yield transformative medicines for patients in need. Executive Director, Proteomics Clinical Development Our Clinical Development group has played a major role transforming the company from a research organization into one with multiple programs in the clinic. With a newer modality, the bar is high, and Kymera’s team has created and executed clinical strategies that have brought our programs to patients and built critical relationships with investigators and key opinion leaders. The Clinical Development team at Kymera is one of the best I have worked with in my career. We’re highly collaborative and supportive, encouraging each other every day to bring unique perspectives to the table to drive unparalleled innovation and execution. The work we are doing truly matters to patients and we’re committed to urgently delivering medicines to those in need. Kate Lipford Executive Director, Clinical Operations Analytical Development, CMC Kymera’s Analytical Development team develops and implements analytical testing methods and control strategies to ensure that we produce drugs of high quality. Targeted Protein Degraders are challenging due to their unique chemical and physical properties, and working with them requires strong scientific skills, creativity, and collaboration. Our experienced analytical team plays an essential role in the development and eventual commercialization of our drug candidates. I enjoy solving challenging technical issues, working in teams efficiently to speed up drug development, and help bring innovative medicines to patients. I find motivation in Kymera’s collaborative culture to drive innovation in Targeted Protein Degradation.
