Quality Technician

Job Description An employer sitting in Lawrence, KS is looking to hire a Quality Technician. This Quality Technician is going to support their small unmanned aircraft system. He/she will be applying their inspection experience and using mechanical inspection tools. This person should be able to read and understand GD&T, working cross-functionally with other disciplines. He/she will be assisting with material handling, filling out inspection plans, putting items into stock, utilizing Oracle Fusion, and writing non-conformances. He/she will be working full-time onsite at their Lawrence, KS location M-Fri, working on a 9/80 schedule. This role will be a 6 month contract, with potential to extend - paying between $25-40/hour depending on years of experience and qualifications. Experience with AS9100 quality systems and/or internal audits, ability to write non-conformance reports Proficient in mechanical inspection tools, GD&T (ANSI Y14.5), engineering drawings, and FAI processes. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to perform pre/post-flight inspections and document test results.
