Low Voltage Technician
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing low voltage systems at a large-scale Amazon facility. This is a fast-track project requiring immediate deployment and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Pull, route, label, and terminate low voltage cabling (Cat5e/6, coax, fiber, etc.)
- Install and secure racks, patch panels, faceplates, and other structured cabling components
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of low voltage systems
- Follow project blueprints, specifications, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow technicians to meet tight project deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of low voltage installation experience (commercial/industrial)
- Proficient in pulling, terminating, and testing structured cabling
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and schematics
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in fast-paced environments
- Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools
- PPE required (hard hat, vest, boots, etc.)
- Available for immediate start
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on warehouse/distribution centers
- OSHA 10/30 certification a plus
- Fiber optic termination experience is a bonus
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Overtime may be available depending on site needs.
