Front Desk Supervisor

The Front Desk Supervisor oversees daily front office operations, leads the guest services team, and ensures strict compliance with brand standards. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing shift workflows, resolving escalated guest issues, and maintaining seamless interdepartmental communication.

Core Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise front desk staff, manage shift scheduling, allocate resources, and provide ongoing training and performance support.
• Guest Relations: Serve as the primary point of escalation for guest complaints, delivering immediate, professional resolutions to maintain high satisfaction metrics.
• Operational Coordination: Collaborate directly with the Assistant General Manager, General Manager, and department heads to optimize property-wide operations.
• Logistics & Inventory: Monitor front office supply levels and audit resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Compliance & Security: Enforce all Hyatt operational protocols, data privacy regulations, and security mandates to protect guest and employee information.
• Floor Presence: Maintain high visibility at the front desk during peak hours to support staff and interface with guests.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Front Desk Supervisor or relevant leadership role within a Hyatt property.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience utilizing Opera Cloud and proprietary Hyatt management systems.
• Core Competencies: Strong conflict-resolution capabilities, exceptional verbal/written communication, and proven stress-management skills in high-pressure environments.
• Availability: Open flexibility to work full-time hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
