This includes ensuring that the appropriate resources are available to meet customer service requirements.What Your Role Will Look LikeConduct all necessary and appropriate preventative maintenance of company vehicles in a safe, timely, and competent mannerSafely and swiftly correct all deficiencies when reported by operator of the company vehicleTimely and accurate completion and maintenance of all forms and paperwork including maintenance records and state inspection reportsConsistently comply with company, state and federal safety regulationsDue to equipment, fuels and other products being utilized, this individual must remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe mannerReport any unsafe conditions immediately and actively participate in all safety and staff meetings as requiredMaintain vehicle repair facility to ensure the premises are safe and orderlyWhat You'll Bring To This RoleEducation: High school diploma/GEDExperience: Minimum 5-7 years fleet mechanic experienceProven Diesel and Gas engine knowledgePreferred knowledge of and proficiency in the use of diagnostic test equipment necessary to safely maintain companyExperience with CAT, Cummins, OBD2 or similar softwareSubmit to and pass Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testsApply now to heat up your career at Eastern!
