Production Operator – Cresco, IA Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Saturdays – 6‑hour shift as needed. Starting Pay: $22.30 per hour. Benefits Medical, Dental, and Prescription coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan Health Savings Account Life and Critical Illness insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) incorporating legal and financial resources Two weeks paid vacation and thirteen paid holidays at hire (prorated based on start date) Job Responsibilities Assemble multimedia filters using Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Operate various types of machinery to process materials and assemblies throughout the facility. Inspect parts using quality inspection tools such as calipers, height gauges, and other testing instruments per instructions and procedures. Utilize hand tools, measuring devices, adhesive applicators, and paper media cutting equipment safely and compliantly. Report labor, production, scrap, and other information into production systems. Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols throughout the plant. Keep work area organized at all times and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Maintain flexibility to move from line to line or position to position as required, including ergonomic rotation. Assist with training, instruction, or mentorship of employees in training as needed. Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT, Donaldson Safety, Environmental policies, and company codes of conduct and procedures. Qualifications Execute a variety of tasks safely in a fast‑paced work environment. Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees in accordance with Donaldson company policies and procedures. Work effectively in a team environment toward a common goal. Respond to change productively and demonstrate the ability to perform additional tasks as assigned. Maintain regular and predictable attendance and be able to work non‑traditional shifts and weekends if required. Successfully complete the pre‑hire applicant process, including drug and background screenings, prior to employment, and a 60‑day probationary period after hire. Operate in an industrialized environment with motorized vehicles, rotating equipment, manual and power hand tools, and production lines. Lift/carry 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally; stand for long periods. Utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment.
