Registered Nurse/RN II – Med Surg Full Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Nights 7pm-7am, (3) 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend, two major and two minor holidays, no call, self-scheduling. Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire Med Surg Department Highlights Supportive team environment. Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Med Surg experience preferred; Telemetry experience helpful Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually and ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
