(USA) Operations Manager - Floor

Position Summary Walmart – Logistics Area Manager Location: 23701 W Southern Ave, Buckeye, AZ 85326-4928 Salary: $84,000 – $126,000 per year Job Type: Regular / Permanent What you'll do Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Drive and implement the business plan for your area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety) and operational improvements. Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands. Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements. Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives. Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others as needed. Supervise and manage associates and leaders by giving direction, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training and development needs. Teach, support, and model company policies and procedures, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation. Respect individuals by building high‑performing teams, embracing differences, creating a culture of belonging, and empowering talent. Act with integrity, promote the highest standards of ethics, maintain transparency, and hold oneself and others accountable. Serve customers and members, deliver results with a customer‑first mindset, use data insights for decisions, and balance short‑ and long‑term priorities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management). At least 1 year of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion for multiple departments/areas. OR at least 1 year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager with similar supervisory responsibilities. OR at least 3 years of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion. Successful completion of all required job‑training and assessments. Preferred Qualifications Financial modeling and analysis. Managing challenging workforce issues. Modeling/forecasting. Preparing and executing budgets. Profit and loss (P&L) accountability. Supervising associates. Walmart logistics manager experience.
