We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to install refrigeration systems such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and racking systems for retail grocery stores and gas stations. The role involves running all necessary lines, setting up the systems, and starting them up. You will also interact with customers to discuss the services being performed.

Responsibilities

• Install refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers, freezers, and racking systems.

• Run all necessary lines and set up the systems.

• Start up refrigeration systems and ensure they are functioning properly.

• Interact with customers to discuss the services being provided.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in installation work with refrigeration systems.

• Proficiency in refrigeration installation, commercial systems, and mechanical work.

• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and refrigerant handling.

• Ability to drive a company vehicle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with refrigeration tools and familiarity with r-448, r-449, and r-454.

• Strong computer or phone skills for electronic dispatch, taking pictures of repairs, and inputting services performed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Clemens, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
