P&C Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR)

We are a well-established agency with roots dating back to the 1960s. We strive to provide an outstanding customer experience and offer our employees a healthy work-life balance.
We are looking for a licensed (or motivated to become licensed within 3 months) Insurance CSR to join our team. You will be working in a small office environment, helping clients navigate their insurance needs, manage renewals and resolve service issues.
We are looking for a detail oriented person who enjoys working with people. Previous experience with systems like EZlynx, Vertafore, Applied and MS office is preferred but we will train the right person and pay for licensing costs. You will not be the primary receptionist, but will help with incoming phone calls when things get busy. If you desire to sell insurance, you will be paid commission on top of a base salary. If you prefer not to sell, it is not a requirement for this position.
Work from home is not an option for this position. This is a 37.5 hour per week position - Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm.
We offer paid time off/vacation and holidays. We offer a matching IRS after one year. We do not offer health insurance, but do pay higher than average wages for the industry and location. Salary range is $25 to $35 per hour or more depending on experience.
