Duration: Ongoing permanent placement

Shift: 20-hour coverage shifts (flexible schedule)

Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Experience: 2+ years as NNP (excluding RN experience)

What You'll Do

• Provide expert neonatal care in a top-rated Level-III NICU with approximately 320 admissions annually
• Collaborate with two neonatologists and a team of 5-6 NNPs
• Assist with neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and ongoing management
• Cover newborn nursery, providing routine and emergent care
• Support family-centered care and mother-baby bonding
• Document patient care accurately, adhering to hospital protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educational activities

What You Need

• Current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Board Certification (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure NNP experience
• Valid North Carolina RN and APRN licenses
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
