Oxbo Lynden is currently hiring for a full-time Paint Lead for our day shift.

Duties:

• Maintain paint spray equipment
• Applies touch up paint to parts as needed
• Ability to do paint repairs to damaged/painted incorrectly items
• Follow and complete work orders throughout the painting process
• Able to read engineering drawings, mix paint, and mask parts accordingly
• Identify and obtain equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function
• Properly execute Hazardous Material Disposal activities
• Prepare/mix the various paint materials
• Clean and service spray guns, paint tanks, brushes, hoses, and related equipment after using.
• Identify and obtain equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function
• Prepare and set up all equipment and supplies to perform work assignment
• Train and lead paint staff

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 3-5 years of industrial painting experience is required
• Former experience in estimating materials and labor requirement for painting project
• Ability to perform the simple mathematical calculations
• Ability to train staff
• Properly execute Hazardous Material Disposal activities
• Work well under pressure, meeting and completing deadlines
• Has knowledge of and is able to initially troubleshoot equipment and involve supervisor and maintenance if necessary
• Fully capable of using all methods to safely handle material from start to delivery of finished product
• Above average problem-solving skills
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter, strong work ethic, driven to meet company objectives
• Strong desire to teach train and develop team members
• Is respectful and keeps a professional demeanor, capable of managing conflict and avoiding it
