Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in a hospital setting, Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Starts October 5, 2026 for 14 weeks. Monitor patient status with telemetry, administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures as needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver timely, safe patient care and documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC). Respond to emergencies, participate in codes, and support patient and family education and discharge planning. Maintain appropriate patient-to-nurse ratios (typical ED range approximately 1:4-5 depending on acuity) and adapt to varying charting, imaging, and procedural needs. Float to Psych ED and Pedi ED areas (care for patients age 15+ in pedi settings when required), with pediatric experience preferred but not required. Requirements Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I or II ED experience and/or 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 ED experience. Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips; pass Telemetry Test on Day 1 (85%+). Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (must be active/unexpired). EPIC experience preferred; prior travel assignment experience and critical care experience are a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume ED and to float to related areas as needed.
