Azure Infrastructure Engineer Remote Role Requirements
Experience Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and automation roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Core Azure Services
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure services, including Storage Accounts (ADLS), Azure Files, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Application Insights, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure Active Directory, Application Gateway, and Azure Load Balancer.
• Required experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
• Strong familiarity with additional Azure services such as Azure Functions, Event Hubs, API Management, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and IoT Central.
Automation and DevOps
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools, including Azure Bicep, Azure CLI, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and release workflows for infrastructure automation using Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Systems and Platform Administration
• Experience administering both Windows- and Linux-based systems.
• Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Security
• Strong understanding of Azure public cloud security best practices.
