Overnight Caregiver

Whether your loved one needs assistance with everyday tasks or is recovering from an injury or chronic illness, our caregivers will be there to provide the one-on-one, personalized care they deserve. Role Overview: As an Overnight Caregiver at Visiting Angels, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate, non-medical care to our senior clients during nighttime hours. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that each client's needs are met, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. You’ll work on-site in Gastonia, North Carolina, providing essential support to help our clients enjoy their evenings and nights comfortably. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and engage clients in enjoyable activities to foster a positive environment. Support clients with mobility and ensure their safety during overnight hours. Prepare and serve meals as necessary, adhering to dietary guidelines. Maintain accurate records of the client’s conditions and communicate any changes to the team. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elder care. Strong communication skills, particularly in English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required. Bonus If You: Hold any relevant certifications in caregiving or elder care. Speak additional languages besides English. Have experience with clients with specific medical needs. Employment Type & Availability: This position is Full-Time, available Monday through Friday. Location: This position is on-site only in Gastonia, North Carolina.
