Description

Location: Somerset, KY

Reporting to the TTNA New Project Management Assistant Manager, this position will be responsible for project and administrative management from start to finish of assigned projects.

Position Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Coordinating projects with responsibilities for project kick-off activities, project plan, scope, delivery of milestones, and risk and opportunity management.
  • Monitor and control project variables to ensure project stays on schedule.
  • Prepare project and customer facing documents required during the project lifecycle.
  • Work and communicate with purchasing, sales, engineering, and other Toyotetsu locations for achieving project deliverables.
  • Read and interpret project technical information from CAD drawings and from the Toyota supplier system.
  • Present project reports to internal managers and customers.
  • Develop and help implement kaizen opportunities to improve specific projects or the project management process.
Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Project management or administration experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work with urgency.
  • Proven ability to work effectively on short- and long-term projects and multiple projects at once.
  • Proven ability to be detail-oriented and highly organized.

  • Proven ability to be solution-focused with ability to identify problems and drive toward appropriate solutions.

Teamwork and Communication:

  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships in a team environment as well as work independently while managing own priorities and schedule.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel preferred.
