Website Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Website Administrator to manage and optimize our WordPress/WooCommerce website and e‑commerce operations. This role is responsible for ensuring a secure, reliable, and engaging online experience that drives traffic, improves conversion rates, and supports revenue growth. The Website Administrator works cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, IT, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and third‑party developers to maintain and enhance our digital platforms. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations of WordPress and WooCommerce websites Create, update, edit, and publish website and product content Oversee e‑commerce order processing, payment workflows, and shipping coordination Monitor website performance and conduct QA testing Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts Maintain website security, backups, updates, and system integrations Design and implement testing to improve user experience and conversion rates (CRO) Apply SEO/SEM best practices to optimize content and increase traffic Analyze web traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to guide decisions Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations (ADA accessibility, copyright, data protection) Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party developers on enhancements and updates Support annual e‑commerce planning and budgeting initiatives Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience managing WordPress and WooCommerce websites Strong understanding of website backend, themes, and plugins Experience with payment gateways, shipping methods, and tax configurations Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices and content optimization Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Understanding of website security (SSL certificates, firewalls, vulnerability scanning) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate across teams Fluent in English (Spanish or additional languages preferred) Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Technology Management, Library Sciences, or related field OR 4+ years of web development or digital content management experience Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or PHP Experience with email marketing tools and automation preferred Experience integrating third‑party tools (CRM, ERP, marketing platforms) a plus Prior experience launching or scaling WooCommerce stores preferred Relevant certifications are a plus Work Environment & Physical Requirements Standard office environment with extended computer use Ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
