Opportunity:

Physician - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide Critical Care Medicine coverage with in-house hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on-call coverage from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM


• Provider may need to return to the facility if needed during on-call hours


• Coverage requirement of 8 to 12 shifts per month


• Manage a daily patient volume of 8 to 14 Medical ICU patients


• Serve as sole coverage for the MICU with support from MICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and other service lines


• Must have an active Kentucky license and active DEA


• Must be Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine with active ACLS certification


• Must be proficient in common critical care procedures including airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion at a minimum
