Production Worker

General Labor

Join our team as a General Laborer, where you will be involved in various tasks such as inspecting parts with a digital gage, working in the washer area for loading and unloading parts, and working at the deburr table. You will also be responsible for loading and packing parts. You will be trained on multiple jobs before being assigned to a specific area. We have openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as well. This is currently hiring and interviewing as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical machine operations and produce parts as per posted instructions.
• Inspect parts using precision and measuring tools.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean condition and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Complete any required logs for the assigned area.
• Be familiar with basic machine functions.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing work environment.
• Experience with repetitive work tasks.
• Ability to use a digital gage.
• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Quality control experience.

Work Environment

The facility is loud, and steel toe boots are required. Cell phones are not allowed on the floor. Our facility is very clean, equipped with fans for the summer months to keep cool. Orientation times are at 7am for the first shift and 2:30pm for the second shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelby, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
