The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and assisting with general facility upkeep within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position performs a variety of hands-on tasks including receiving and moving materials, organizing inventory, assembling furniture and shelving, performing basic building repairs, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with warehouse, production, and facilities personnel to support day-to-day operations and ensure the facility remains clean, functional, and well-maintained.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional overtime and schedule adjustments as business needs require.

Responsibilities:

·       Perform general building maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, painting, drywall repair, furniture assembly, door repairs, and basic plumbing repairs.

·       Assist with minor repairs and routine upkeep of facility and production equipment.

·       Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures.

·       Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, warehouse spaces, and facility grounds.

·       Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and materials.

·       Move inventory, supplies, equipment, and materials throughout the warehouse and facility.

·       Assemble shelving, workstations, furniture, and storage systems as needed.

·       Assist with facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and workspace modifications.

·       Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.

·       Remove trash, scrap materials, and debris from warehouse and facility areas.

·       Maintain basic records related to maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work.

·       Support inventory counts and organization of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and warehouse materials.

·       Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

·       Adhere to cleanroom gowning requirements and facility cleanliness standards when working in controlled environments.

·       Perform physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday.

·       Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse, facility, and production operations.
