High Voltage Power - Assembly Technician

High Voltage Power - Assembly Technician Position located at our facility in Billerica, Massachusetts. This role is responsible for assembling and repairing High Voltage Power Supplies in a production environment, supporting a range of applications including luggage screening, laser systems, curing processes, 3‑D printing, and medical devices. Responsibilities Perform electro‑mechanical operations on printed circuit boards, subassemblies, and complete assembly of high voltage power supplies. Perform various rework/repair operations on production systems and service units. Perform other duties as required to support manufacturing objectives. Read and interpret assembly prints, process specifications, and work instructions. Execute soldering, wire cutting, stripping, and crimping tasks. Utilize hand tools and semi‑automatic equipment for daily tasks. Maintain strong organizational and basic computer skills. Meet throughput requirements on a daily basis, based on product complexity. Adhere to gowning and PPE requirements, including finger cots, gloves, ESD smocks, safety shoes, and safety glasses. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2–5 years of electromechanical assembly experience. Solder certification to IPC A-610 and/or J-STD-001. Ability to read and interpret all work instructions. Strong organizational, computer, and Windows/MS Office skills. Effective time management and continuous improvement mindset. Ability to sit or stand for at least 8 hours per day. Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to move around production floor and transport parts. Adherence to gowning requirements, including lab jacket, safety shoes, safety glasses, and COVID prevention protocols. Knowledge of encapsulation, media blasting, oil processing, filling, and specialized soldering techniques for high voltage applications is a plus. Availability to work overtime if necessary. Compensation Pay Range: $26 – $30 per hour, depending on experience. Additional Information This position requires the use of information subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
