Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Critical Care)

Location

Rocky Mount, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting with minimal guidance
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for the critical care population
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to arrhythmias
• Care for patients with complex and acute conditions, including infectious disease presentations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Basic Arrhythmia competency with an exam score of 85% or greater required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Prior experience caring for COVID-positive patients
