Senior GMAW Fabrication Specialist

Schedule: Fri–Sun, 9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. (Work 36 hours, paid for 40)

Friday at 9:00 a.m., your hood drops in our fully air‑conditioned, professional shop. You pull the print, choose the correct GMAW settings, and run a flawless first‑piece. Quality signs off. By afternoon, you’ve sequenced a mix of stainless and mild steel jobs by complexity and completion time. Saturday brings a tricky galvannealed assembly—your flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds make quick work of it. Sunday wraps with clean documentation so the next project starts smoothly. Efficient. Precise. Customer-ready.

• Produce consistently high‑quality MIG/GMAW welds with speed and accuracy.
• Select the appropriate welding method when not specified on the blueprint.
• Perform first‑piece checks and submit to Quality Assurance before full runs.
• Maintain clear production records to verify counts and traceability.
• Organize job flow by complexity, method, and estimated completion time to hit deadlines.
• Pitch in on related tasks as needed to keep work moving.

• Availability to work Fri–Sun 9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. (36 hours paid as 40)
• 3+ years MIG welding/fabrication experience
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols
• Proficient with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill positions
• Capable of welding mild steel, stainless steel, and galvannealed steel
• Detail‑driven, efficient, and safety‑minded

• GD&T
• Troubleshooting skills
• Welding setups for production
• Vehicle & fleet welding
• Blueprint reading
