Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints to install guard rails, metal framing, drywall, and hang doors according to the project scope. The role requires proficiency in operating hand and power tools while adhering to safety standards. Candidates must possess their own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints for construction projects.
• Install guard rails, metal framing, drywall, and doors on commercial projects.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Layout and install metal studs, drywall, and guard rails.
• Work collaboratively with other subcontractors on site.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in metal framing, carpentry, and drywall installation.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Experience in reading blueprints and construction layout.
• Capability to perform finish carpentry and trim work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with commercial construction projects.
• Ability to perform demolition and rough carpentry.
• Competence in door installation and using a tape measure.

Work Environment
The position is based on a commercial construction site, requiring collaboration with other subcontractors in hot and dusty conditions. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. All employees must wear PPE, including high-visibility shirts or vests, hard hats, eye protection, and gloves at all times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
