Plumber Apprentice

SUMMARY Stewart Mechanical Inc. is currently hiring plumbing apprentices interested in gaining experience in the plumbing field with advancement goals. Apprentice applicants should have trade experience and be able to join an apprentice program. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites in preparation for plumbing work. Assists in unloading and loading materials Assists when necessary with foremen and apprentices. Understanding of basic construction tools Keep work area clean, dig trenches, preparing equipment for use and returning equipment after use. It is important that a laborer has an ability to see what needs to be done to keep the crew moving efficiently, and is a self-starter. Construction experience is a plus Equipment / Tools Work with power tools (saws, drills, jack hammers, roto hammers, etc.) Work with equipment (Jumping jacks, scissor lifts, excavators, etc.) Requirements Reliable transportation Drive motor vehicles Valid drivers license Proven attendance record Work outdoors Work with others Follow instructions Attend apprenticeship school High School Diploma or equivalent Math qualifications equivalent to High School Algebra and Geometry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
