What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care utilizing the nursing process in a neonatal ICU setting
• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for families and team members
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Delegate tasks and manage resources effectively while serving as a clinical leader
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as regulatory standards
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and quality care at all times
• Document accurately and thoroughly planned care activities and patient responses

What You Need

Required:

• Active Louisiana RN license
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in NICU or similar setting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NRP certification

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Additional certifications in neonatal or pediatric specialties
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent judgment and self-direction
