Job Description:  Take patients by wheelchair or stretcher while using our vans, fuel, insurance, etc. • Always maintain a positive and constructive attitude • Ensure vehicles are safely stored, cleaned, and maintenance needs are recorded • Handles transport service needs for many different types of appointments • Maintain a broad knowledge base of partner requirements regarding entry, locations, preferences, etc. • Ensure all appointments are on-time and reduce wait times • Strong communications to management, central office dispatch, patients, and coworkers • Comply with Caliber daily guidelines and procedures • Comply with all Caliber safety rules, guidelines and dress code standards • Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business. Must be able to store van at home for work purposes. $19/Hr to start.

 

Fluency in English Required : Ability to effectively communicate with others, orally and written • Ability to read and understand basics of assignment instructions 

 

Skill/Requirements:   High school diploma or GED • Must be at least 25 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a minimum Five (5) years driving history • Eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy (Not an excluded driver) • Organization and multi-tasking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment • Personable, friendly demeanor with "Compassionate" customer service approach to internal and external customers • Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance and work in Caliber approved clothing (grey scrubs purchased by employee)

 

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Position is based outside and in vehicles with moderate noise levels • Caliber operates 365 days a year, meaning hot/cold and wet/dry • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near/far vision requirements for driving, including dark/nights • Regularly required to talk or hear • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms • The job may require lifting up to 70 lbs and long periods of sitting while behind the wheel. No smoking in or around vans.

 

Job Type: Full-time There are no overnight or third shifts. Able to work select weekends and holidays.
