Direct Care Worker (DCW)Location: Montrose, PA (Susquehanna County) Company: Familiar Roads Home HealthcareJob SummaryFamiliar Roads Home Healthcare is hiring caring and dependable Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to support clients in Montrose and throughout Susquehanna County. This is a meaningful opportunity to help seniors and individuals with disabilities live independently and with dignity in their own homes.Qualifications (Required)Applicants must meet the following Pennsylvania state and agency requirements:Completed Competency Exam or PA-compliant training program per Department of Health (DOH) standardsCurrent CPR CertificationRecent TB Test & Physical Exam (within the past 12 months) — QuantiFERON-TB Gold or equivalent acceptedProof of Pennsylvania Residency for the past two (2) yearsTwo (2) Valid Professional ReferencesClear Criminal Background CheckAbility to speak, read, and write English proficientlyNeat appearance and practices good personal hygieneResponsibilitiesAssist with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)Prepare meals and assist with feeding as neededLight housekeeping and laundry dutiesMobility and transfer assistanceNon-clinical medication remindersObserve and report changes in client conditionBenefitsFlexible scheduling (day, evening, weekend availability)Bi-Weekly payPaid training and ongoing supportSupportive team environmentSign-on bonus availableServe UPMC, Keystone First, and PA Health & Wellness clients
