Client Accounting Services (CAS) Supervisor

Their Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice provides outsourced accounting and advisory support to a diverse portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses across multiple industries. Acting as an extension of each client’s internal finance function, the team delivers bookkeeping, controller-level support, financial reporting, and operational insight with a strong emphasis on accuracy, responsiveness, and consistency. As the practice continues to grow, the firm is looking to add an experienced CAS Supervisor to help lead client engagements and support continued expansion. Role Overview This role is responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing full-cycle accounting engagements within the CAS practice. The CAS Supervisor will act as a key point of contact for clients while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, system management, and day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that offers exposure to a wide variety of industries and businesses, along with the opportunity to improve processes and add value through advisory-level support. What You’ll Be Doing Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and manage ongoing relationships Oversee full-cycle client accounting including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, cash management, and month-end close Manage and support client accounting systems, primarily QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages Partner with clients to improve accounting processes, workflows, and operational efficiency Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent deliverables across engagements Ideal Background 5+ years of accounting or Client Accounting Services (CAS) experience in a client‑facing role Strong experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop (QBO/QBD) Exposure to additional systems such as NetSuite is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to independently manage client relationships Solid understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes CPA licensed or actively pursuing CPA strongly preferred Why This Role This is an opportunity to join a growing CAS practice within a supportive, flexible environment that emphasizes professional development, client impact, and work-life balance.
