Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: RCIS, RT Must-Have: Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 3 cath labs Number of Staff: 10-11 staff per day in cath lab Type of Staff: Day shift mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists Patient Ratios: 3 staff per room Type of Equipment: GE X-ray/MacLab EMR Meditech Typical Hiring Profile: Most Recruited For: Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab Preferred: Experience working in a high-volume lab handling complex cases List of Typical Procedures Performed: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations Impella, balloon-pump Peripheral cases Complex PCIs Occasional devices Best Personality Fit: Easy-going, kind, friendly Able to work in a fast-paced, busy lab Unit Guidelines/Policies: Act professional and attendance is vital Able to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back On call some weekends and weekdays
