Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Summary:


Seeking a highly skilled Oncology RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a specialized oncology/transplant unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and demonstrate strong clinical expertise in hematology and chemotherapy administration.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products safely and accurately.
• Monitor patients undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant and manage related procedures.
• Document patient care activities and treatment responses in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety guidelines, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Proven experience with chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
• BMT/Bone Marrow transplant experience preferred.
• Current ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification and BLS required.
• ACLS certification is a plus.
