We're a busy local custom frame shop looking for an experienced Bilingual (in Spanish) associate who loves the retail side as much as the craft. You'll be a friendly, familiar voice of the shop — greeting walk-ins, guiding customers to framing they'll love, writing up clean orders, and helping us get every job out the door on time.
This role is for someone who already knows custom framing in a retail environment: you can design a frame with a customer, take an accurate order, and keep the queue moving. Bring your experience and your customer service, and we'll give you a shop that values both.
What you'd do
- Deliver excellent customer service to every retail walk-in and client, in person, on the phone, and by email
- Design custom framing with customers — suggest mats, mouldings, and glass that fit the piece, the taste, and the budget, and confidently guide them to a choice they love
- Help with sales by turning a browse into a finished order customers are happy with
- Help streamline our order flow — keep tickets, paperwork, and the queue organized so jobs move smoothly from counter to workbench to pickup
- Help the shop hit its deadlines by tracking where each job stands and flagging anything at risk of running late
- Keep the counter and showroom sharp and welcoming
What we're looking for (required)
- Hands-on custom framing experience in a retail frame shop preferred — you've designed and written up framing orders for customers
- Some knowledge of mats, mouldings, glass/glazing, and how to spec a job correctly
- Excellent customer service and comfort with sales
- Organized and deadline-minded, able to juggle multiple orders without dropping details.
