Senior AccountantSeeking a Senior Accountant with experience in individual and business tax preparation and advisory services for small business clients.Roles and responsibilities include:Review financial statements and oversee general ledger activities.Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently.Research and apply applicable tax regulations and assist with tax planning strategies.Provide accounting and advisory support to small business clients.Supervise junior staff and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.Collaborate with advisors to develop integrated financial solutions for clients.Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.Participate in process improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with the firm's quality and regulatory standards.Qualifications include:Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management and reconciliation experience.Advanced tax knowledge with experience in individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation and tax planning.Proficiency with accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, professional tax platforms) and solid Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain complex financial and tax concepts to clients and team members.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing multiple deadlines and client engagements.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred; bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.Prior public accounting experience, particularly with small business clients and high-net-worth individuals.
