This environment encourages innovation and ensures that your skills are continuously challenged while allowing for efficient patient management and care delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist licensed physical therapists in implementing and modifying treatment plans based on the patients' needs.Perform exercises and therapeutic activities with patients while monitoring their progress and reporting updates.Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques and therapy expectations, ensuring they fully understand the rehabilitation process.Utilize electronic healthcare systems, such as Net Health or Casamba, for documentation and patient support.Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safely.Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities, including in-house continuing education units (CEUs) and mentorship programs.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, including elderly individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will be crucial in helping them regain mobility and independence, ensuring compassionate and effective care tailored to their specific needs.QualificationsValid Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant; new graduates are encouraged to apply.Current active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Nevada.Strong ability to practice independently while adhering to state and federal guidelines.A genuine passion for assisting and working with the elderly population, demonstrating empathy and patience.Preferred ExperienceExperience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment.Proficiency in using therapy management software and healthcare systems.Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Strong oral and written communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.A cooperative team attitude, with flexibility to adapt to changing workloads.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 65,000, commensurate with experience.
